Biography
Dear Visitor / dear Guest,
I would like to take the opportunity to briefly introduce myself. My name is Peter Bujtar. I am a surgeon currently focusing on the outpatient managements of dental patients.
My primary education involved a medical school, a dental school and an engineering faculty. From 2006 I have started my post graduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Until 2010 my training was at Hungary, after which I have relocated to the UK. The life-long training involved a specialty exit exam in 2015.

The pre- and postgraduate training involved multiple specialty: general surgery, trauma, orthopaedics, intensive care, A+E, general medical practice, ear-nose throat surgery, eye surgery, neurosurgery and oral surgery and maxillofacial surgery as well as plastic, reconstructive surgery. Not to mention some general dental work.

I feel lucky having worked with many excellent mentors and colleagues at many prestigious hospitals; including terms at many well run practices.

During these years, having learnt from the different aspects of surgery and patient care topped up with the engineering aspects I have realized:
1) The communication, understanding each other, openness with our patients and colleagues is to be in the center of our daily process.

2) The team work approach is to be encouraged with keeping eye on the bias.

3) As a surgeon it is not only the surgery but the way toward and the care after surgery is as important.

4) We/I always learn and there is always something to do for the better. Education such as personal, public and professional is our duty.

5) Understanding the factors influencing the surgery, using foreign bodies and their long and short term effect is paramount.

I hope the knowledge I gathered is for the benefit of our patients and their families. Personally, I am a father of two boy with my supporting wife. I do understand your happiness and satisfaction and long term function is your aim. Please do feel free to contact me or my colleagues regarding questions.

Kind regards,

Peter Bujtar
